Mondays in June: Screening and Discussion on “Outrage in Rockland: The Lynching of Howard Cooper”

On Monday evenings throughout June 2020, join the John Mitchell, Jr. Program for History, Justice, and Race at George Mason University, Busboys and Poets, and the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project for virtual town hall discussions with authors, activists, and academics on pressing issues at the intersection of race, peace, and justice.

The third virtual town hall on June 15, 2020, will begin with a screening of “Outrage in Rockland: The Lynching of Howard Cooper” and feature a discussion with the filmmaker and MLMP president Will Schwarz, and with trauma healing expert Dr. Corey J. Henderson.
